Happy Tuesday!

I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I surely did. This year our celebration was different for sure, but it was wonderful nonetheless is time together with family, friends and of course lots of turkey! Yumm!

With Thanksgiving now in the rear view mirror, I’ve been busying myself with everything Christmas. My home is decorated inside and out, my tree is up, and I’ve even beginning to wrap gifts. Woo hoo!

This week I’ll be sharing my holiday cards using the Stars Are Shining stamp set and the beautiful Wonder and Whimsy Designer series paper. Yes, I know the paper is no longer available, but it is so pretty I couldn’t help sharing.

Stars are Shining Christmas

This card uses gorgeous Winter Snow embossing folder. I love all the detail and texture this adds to the card and it coordinates beautifully with the DSP. This beautiful embossing folder will be leaving the line soon, but you can purchase it for 50% off while supplies last!

A Closer LookElegance Made Easy

I created the background panel using the Winter Snow embossing folder on the 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White card stock to which I adhered a 3 3/4″ x 3″ piece of DSP; then I added the panel to a card base of Thick Basic White card stock.

The sentiment panel measures 3 3/4″ by 1″ and I heat embossed the sentiment in Silver Embossing powder.

Of course, there needs to be a snowflake embellishment, so I used the die from the Gingerbread die set to add the needed touch.

To finish I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center of the Snowflake.

I embossed the envelope flap to complete.
