It’s Friday!! It’s been a busy week for me, so I truly welcome the weekend.
As I shared earlier in the week, the projects this week are all ones that I made using the Stars at Night bundle. This is the third card I’m sharing, two on my blog and one on my YouTube channel.
Here’s today’s card:
The embossing makes for a fun and festive look.
Elegance Made Easy
Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.
First, make your cuts:
- Basic Black card stock – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Goil Foil card stock – 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″
- Basic White card stock – 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ and 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Die cuts:
- None
- Punches
- None
Adhere Basic Black panel to the front of an A2 card base made with Thick Basic White card stock. (Note: An A2 card base is made by cutting an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of Thick card stock in half on the long side. Score the 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ (half sheet) of card stock at 4 1/4 “.)
Emboss the sentiment onto a small piece of Basic Black card stock using Versa Mark and Gold embossing powder. Cut the sentiment into two pieces.
Emboss the stars onto the smaller Basic White panel using Versa Mark in and Gold embossing powder. Add the embossed stars panel to the Gold foil panel and then adhere to the card front.
Add the sentiment and Gold Festive Pearls to the card front.
For the inside, I stamped stars in Versa Mark and embossed with Gold embossing powder on the bottom of the larger Basic White die cut.
To complete the project, dry emboss the envelope flap using the Stars At Night hybrid embossing folder.
