I know – this was supposed to be a Wednesday post. As much as I tried I couldn’t make it happen for Wednesday, but as they say, better late than never.

I hope that your week is going well and your heart is happy.

For my card today, I’m using products from a few companies. My background embossing folder and embellishments are from Spellbinders. The sentiment is from PinkFresh Studio and the beautiful magnolia wreath image is from Lisa Horton Crafts.

Here’s the card for today:

To make this card I used a 5″ x 7″ piece of white card stock and embossed it using the Stylized Lattice 3D Embossing Folder by Spellbinders, Next I lightly inked the perimeter with Sweet Violet Matt Blending Ink by Lisa Horton Crafts and I added the embossed panel to the front of a 5″ x 7″ card base.

On a separate piece of white cardstock I inked the magnolia twig wreath using the Twig Wreath stencils by Lisa Horton Crafts. The inks used were from Lisa Horton Crafts: Sweet Violet, Shocking Pink and Woodland Moss Matt Blending Ink and Warm Chestnut Shimmer and Magic Garden Shimmer Interference Inks.

I die cut the inked panel using the coordinating die and then embossed the die cut using the Twig Wreath 3D Embossing Folder by Lisa Horton Crafts.

For the sentiment I foiled and die cut the sentiment from the Wonderful Sentiments Foil Plate and Die set by PinkFresh Studios using white card stock and Gold Foil by Spellbinders.

I added the foiled sentiment onto white card stock and cut it using the coordinating die, and finished by embellishing with Spectrum AB Color Essential Gems by Spellbinders.

And just like that you have an easy and elegant card that you can use for multiple occasions!
