Happy Wednesday!

Technically, I suppose I should say I hope that your Wednesday was fantastic as the day is nearly gone. 😉

Thank you for stopping by.

It’s been a butterfly kind of week for me. Nearly all the cards I’ve made the last ten days have a butterfly and today is no exception.

Today’s card features the Leafy Butterfly Frame craft die set and the Background Script 3D embossing folder by Lisa Horton Crafts.

I love this combo because you can create a lovely card quickly. I took an additional step to ink my paper using wax, so if you make this card using colored card stock it will come together even more quickly.

Here’s the card for today:

To make this A2 sized card I started by embossing a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of white card stock using the Background Script 3D Embossing folder and added it to the front of the card base.

On a separate piece of white cardstock I used Rich Purple Metallic Wax to color the card stock and die cut it with the two largest dies from the Leafy Butterfly Frame die set. Then I glued those to the card front.

Next I die cut an octagon using white card stock and colored the outer rim with the wax. I adhered the octagon to the center of the circle using foam squares.

I used silver foil card stock to cut the sentiment and the butterfly using dies from the die set and added them to the card.

The final step was to add Silver Mix Color Essential Gems by Spellbinders.

And just like that you have an easy and elegant card that you can use for multiple occasions!

Below are links to some of the products used in today’s card. Thank you for supporting my channel by using these links. (There is no additional cost to you to use them, but I do get a small incentive if you choose to do so.) 🙂
