Story of Elegance
It’s Friday! Boy did this week fly by for me! Although the week was busy, I feel accomplished, not that I did great things, I didn’t. But I completed so many of the little things I planned to do. Doesn’t happen often, but I’m happy when it does. 🙂
Today’s card features portions of the new Waves of the Ocean Collection that will be available beginning March 1 and ending May 2nd. This is one set you definitely want to put on your wish list and prepare to order next week.
Many of these beautiful products are only available while supplies last so when they’re gone, they’re gone.
Here’s a look at the entire Collection.
I made today’s card using a few of these products. The beautiful paper does the work on this one.
These papers speak for themselves – I’ve used both the Designer Series Paper and the Blue Foils for this card.
Here’s a closer look.
A Closer Look
Elegance Made Easy
Here’s how to recreate this card.
To start, cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Coastal Cabana Foil and add it to a card base made with Thick Basic White card stock.
Next, cut a 4 ” x 5 1/4″ piece of Waves of Ocean DSP and add it to the Foil layer.
Cut three rectangles :
- 1 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ – Coastal Cabana Foil
- 1 1/2″ x 4″ – Waves of the Ocean DSP
- 1 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ – Basic White card stock
Use the Pelican stamp and Coastal Cabana ink to stamp the Basic White rectangle and Pacific Point ink for the birds.
Adhere the three rectangles as shown.
Stamp the sentiment in Pacific Point ink and die cut using a die from the Seasonal Labels die set. Add to the card using Dimensionals.
