Story of Elegance

Happy Friday!   I’m happy to continue  sharing cards from the August InKing Royal card challenge.  Today I’m sharing card 14 of the 15 day challenge.

Again, I’m featuring the Arrange A Wreath Bundle.  As a reminder, this versatile set is comprised of the Arrange A Wreath stamp set and the coordinating Wreath Builder die set.

A closer look

Here’s how I created this card:

1: Cut a 4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) and adhere to a card base made with Thick Whisper White card stock.

2:  Layer a 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″  piece of Gold Foil to the DSP.

3.  Layer a 3 3/8″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Bumble Bee card stock to the Gold Foil.

4:  Die cut the wreath in Whisper White using the die from the Wreath Builder die set.  Adhere to the Bumble Bee card stock leaving room for the sentiment at the bottom.

5:  Die cut six flowers  (3 foil and 3 Cinnamon Cider card stock) using the Wreath Builder die set.   Glue the Cinnamon Cider flower atop the Gold Foil Flower and adhere each around the wreath.

6: Stamp the sentiment in Cinnamon Cider ink on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and die cut using the Layering Ovals die.  Adhere to the card beneath the wreath.

7: Adhere Rhinestone Gems to the flowers and the wreath.  (I used Gold craft store gem that I had on hand.)

Add a strip of DSP to envelope flap to complete the ensemble. Gorgeous!
