I am happily continuing to play with products that I received from my recent Lisa Horton order.  I used the Background of Roses embossing folder and the Curvy Rectangles dies.

Today’s project is another one that is incredibly easy to make and shows beautifully.

One of the things that I like about Lisa Horton embossing folders is that you can simply emboss and add a little color to create a beautiful card.

Here’s the card that I made:

Elegance Made Easy

Here are the directions to create this 5″ x 7″ card.

Cut a panel of white card stock to 4 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ and emboss with the Background of Roses embossing folder by Lisa Horton Crafts.  Add the embossed panel to the front of a 5″ x 7″ card base.

Use the largest of the Curvy Rectangles dies to cut a rectangle out of white card stock.  Ink blend around the perimeter of the die cut using the color of your choice.  I used Sweet Violet Matt Blending Ink by Lisa Horton Crafts.

Ink blend a panel of white card stock using the same or coordinating ink used on the larger rectangle above.  Die cut the inked panel using the second largest die and emboss using the Background of Roses embossing folder.   Run a white pigment ink pad across the embossed panel.   Adhere the smaller rectangler to the larger rectangle.  Add the combined rectangles to the card front using foam tape.

Add a sentiment and embellishments of your choosing. (I used a sentiment and gems from Spellbinders and Diamant silver embossing thread.)

And with that, your beautiful card is completed.
