Story of Elegance

Happy Friday!

Thank you for stopping by!

I placed an order for some of Lisa Horton’s new products a couple of weeks ago and they arrived on Thursday.   Just in time for me to play for today’s blog.

One of the new products is a 5 x 7 embossing folder called Large Rose Bloom and it what I used for my project share today.

Here’s the card that I made:

Like all my cards, this one is easy to make.

Elegance Made Easy

Here are the directions to create this 5 x 7 card.

Cut a panel of black card stock to 4 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ and add to the front of a 5 x 7 card base.

Cut a panel of white card stock and is 4 5/8″ x 6 5/8″ and ink blend a light coat of color across the entire panel.  I used Lisa Horton’s Natural Turquoise.

Use the Large Rose Bloom panel to emboss the ink blended panel.

Run the ink pad across the panel and use a small blending brush to add additional color to your liking.

Add a sentiment and embellishments of your choosing.

I used a sentiment from Perfect Sentiments by Pinkfresh Studio and gems from Spellbinders.

And your beautiful card is done!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Have a lovely weekend!  I’ll be back on Tuesday with another card to share.  I hope you’ll join me.

Until next time,

Live Graciously!
