Story of Elegance
Hello and Happy Friday!
There are thousands of crafting products on the market – enough to make your mind explode. But, I’ve found a few products that I really love and I plan to keep sharing my finds and how I use them here.
One of them is the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil system and the other is the Spellbinders Better Press system. These two products are game changers. So much so that other companies are creating products that work with these systems.
I think that collaboration is a wonderful thing.
In my card today, I’m using products from Spellbinders, Pink Fresh Studio and Stampin’ Up! and I think they work beautifully together.
Here’s the card that I made:
Elegance Made Easy
Here are the directions to create this A2 sized card.
Create a card base from heavy white card stock by cutting an 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet on the long side at 5 1/2″. Score one of the pieces at 4 1/4″ and fold and burnish with a bone folder.
Use white card stock and the largest die from the Scalloped and Contours die set from Stampin’ Up to die cut the background frame. Adhere to the card front.
Use the Spellbinders Thinking of You Copperplate and foil of your choice to foil the sentiment onto a piece of white card stock. Use the second largest die from the Scalloped and Contours die set to cut the frame for the sentiment. Add to the card front using white craft foam or foam adhesive sheet. Notes: The Scalloped and Contours dies are retiring from the Stampin’ Up! line at the end of April 2024. So if you want them, you need to act quickly as inventory is while supplies last. I used rose foil for the foiling on this card.
Use the Breezy Blossoms Press Plate by Pinkfresh Studio to hot foil the floral images. Color the floral images with alcohol markers and die cut using the coordinating Breezy Blossoms die. The plate and the die are one piece, so it’s really easy to work with.
Arrange the die cut florals around the sentiment to your liking. Save extra die cut pieces for a later project.
Complete the project by adding Crystal gems to coordinate.
Here’s a closer look at the gorgeous foiling.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a fabulous weekend.
Until next time,
