Story of Elegance

Hello and Happy Tuesday!

I love when I can create a card quickly and  I love it even more when it doesn’t look like it. 🙂

That can be said of today’s card.  It comes together quickly and I think it is lovely.

Here’s the card that I made:

Elegance Made Easy

Here are the directions to create this A2 sized card.

Create a card base from heavy white card stock by cutting an 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet on the long side at 5 1/2″.   Score one of the pieces at 4 1/4″ and fold and burnish with a bone folder.

Use white card stock panel that is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and ink blend using one of your favorite ink colors.  For this card I used Pina Colada Premium Dye Based Matt Blending ink by Lisa Horton.    Note: As you are ink blending, leave the area around the top flower open.

Use the Camellia Cluster embossing folder by Lisa Horton to emboss the floral image onto the ink blended panel.  Adhere the embossed panel to the card front.

Brush the flower image not inked with clear WInk of Stella and add your sentiment.  I used a sentiment from Pink Fresh Studio Wonderful Sentiments Hot Foil Plate that I foiled with Matte Gold foil and cut with coordinating die.

Complete the project by adding Pearl embellishments.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
