I love that we’re are seeing such beautiful weather here in Ohio – finally. I love being able to sit outside and enjoy the birds, the flowers and sometimes enjoy a great book with a tall glass of tea in the afternoon.
This time of year ushers in lots of activity – graduations, weddings, and of course birthdays. Even though I’m short on time in my craft room, I love that I can create sweet and elegant cards in a jiffy. That’s exactly what I did today for this post. A few panels, two die cuts , a little embossing and Voila!
I used the new Encircled In Friendship bundle to create this super simple card, but it’s full of so much detail, others receiving this card might never know.

A Closer Look
Embossing is a great way to get lots of detail fast. For this card, I used the new Pretty Flowers embossing folder. It is aptly named for sure!
Elegance Made Easy
With the right products you can create beautifully detailed cards in a snap. To create this card, cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/ 8″ panel of Petal Pink card stock and layer a panel of Soft Succulent card stock cut to 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″. Next emboss a 3 3/4″ x 5″ panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder and add it to the other panels. Die cut the two ornate circles in Soft Succulent card stock and stamp the sentiment on the smaller cut with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then center them onto the embossed panel. Add the assembled panels to a card base made with Thick Very Vanilla card stock. Of course, there needs to be a little bling, so I add Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels for a little shimmer.
To finish the project embossed the envelope flap. There you go, all dressed up and ready to send.
This card came together so quickly I wondered what it would look like in black and white (my favorite color combo.) So I made another. When I finished I thought this would be perfect for someone who likes RBG. 🙂
