Story of Elegance

Happy after Labor Day!  I hope that you had a great and safe holiday.  I don’t know about your area but we had tornadoes in our area yesterday.  Fortunately, no one that I know were impacted.  So very thankful.  Thanks is the order of the day today – well, actually that’s everyday.

I’m always in need of a thank you card, so I craft them often.  I made several during the InKing Royal Challenge last month.  Today I’m continuing to share challenge cards.  For this card, I used the Thank You stamp from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set and the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).  Simple and elegant.  My favorite kind of card to make.

Gilded Autumn Thank You

It’s super easy to make this card.  Here’s how:

1: Cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″  piece of Gold Foil card stock and adhere to a Thick Very Vanilla card stock  card base.

2:  Cut a 4″ and 5 1/4″ piece of Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP and adhere to the Gold Foil.

3: Use the Layering Ovals dies to die cut Gold Foil, DSP and Very Vanilla card stock ensuring the Very Vanilla is the smallest as shown.

4:  Stamp the sentiment onto the Very Vanilla and layer the die cuts as shown and adhere to the DSP.  TIP: Layer the DSP of the sentiment in the opposite direction of the DSP panel to add extra interest.
