Story of Elegance
Happy Tuesday! I’m continuing to enjoy my favorite time of the year, so of course I had create a nice thinking of you card with a fall theme to share.
I had a leaf stencil from the craft store and I paired it with the beautiful Intricate Leaves die set for today’s simple card.
Here are the colors I chose for my monochromatic palate.
And here is the card.
Although this card has lots of texture and layers, it’s very easy to make.
Elegance Made EasyÂ
To recreate this card, cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Pale Papaya card stock and adhere to a card base made of Thick Very Vanilla card stock.
Cut a piece of Cinnamon Cider card stock to 4″ x 5 1/4″. Emboss with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.
Next, cut a piece of Pale Papaya card stock to 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″. Use a Blending Brush to stencil leaves onto the piece using Pale Papaya ink and add to the embossed panel. Add a piece of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon across the front of the two card stock pieces and adhere to the card base.
Use the Treasured Tags Pick a Punch to create a 3 1/8″ tag in Cinnamon Cider card stock and a 3″ tag in Pale Papaya. Stamp the sentiment in Cinnamon Cider and adhere to the Cinnamon Cider tag. Add to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Die cut leaves in Cinnamon Cider card stock using the Intricate Leaves dies and add to the card.
Add a few Champagne Basic Rhinestones for a little twinkle.
