Story of Elegance

Hello!

It’s Friday and I’m delighted that you decided to stop by.

I’m happy as usual to be able to share another card that I made yesterday using a new to me set of products by Lisa Horton Crafts.

There are so many phenomal products in the Lisa Horton Crafts product line, it’s hard to choose which one I want to play with.

The products I used for today’s card that I haven’t used before are the Japanese Peony Embossing Folder, Stencil Set and Deep Ocean Cloud 9 Matt Blending Ink.  The product that I have used before is the Ornamental Lattice dies.

Here’s the card I made to share with you today:

Elegance Made Easy

Here are the directions to create this A2 sized card.

Use the Lattice die from the Ornamental Lattice die set to die cut a white lattice.

Ink blend a  panel of white card stock that is slightly smaller than 4″ x 5 1/4″ using Deep Ocean Matt Blending Ink.

Adhere the ink blended panel the back of the lattice panel using thin foam strips and then add the assembly to an A2 card base made of thick white card stock.

Use the Japanese Anemone Layering Stencils to color the anemone.  I used Deep Ocean and Garden Sage inks.

Die cut the floral image using the die and emboss the die cut using the Japanese Anemone embossing folder.

Stamp the sentiments from the A Little Hello Sentiment set in black ink and heat emboss with clear embossing.  Die cut the sentiment using the coordinating die and add to the base of the lattice on the card front.

Embellish with gems if desired.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I hope that you have a fabulous weekend and find a little time to craft a little kindness.

I’ll be back on Tuesday with another card to share.  I hope that you’ll join me!

Until next time,

Live Graciously!
