Story of Elegance
Happy Tuesday!
It’s glorious that you’re here and I thank you for stopping by.
Today I’m sharing a card that I made last night with a new Spellbinders BetterPress plate that I purchased recently called Butterfly Bouquet.
I really enjoy the fact that you can use BetterPress plates to both letterpress and foil.  Especially since I’m fast becoming a hot foil fanatic.
Foiling suits my crafting style because – you guessed it – it’s an easy way to create an elegant card.
Here’s the card I made to share with you today:
Elegance Made Easy
Here are the directions to create this A2 sized card.
Use the Butterfly Bouquet BetterPress plate, a hot foil sentiment of your choice and Matte Gold Glimmer Foil to hot foil the images onto a 4 1/2″ x 5 1/14″ panel of smooth white card stock. I used Basic White card stock by Stampin’ Up! and a sentiment from the Sealed Glimmer Sentiments Sentiments by Spellbinders.
Use alchohol markers to color the image as desired. I used Fresh Freesia, Old Olive and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends by Stampin’ Up!
Adhere the colored image to an A2 card base made of thick white card stock.
Embellish with gems if desired. I used Pink Color Essential Gems by Spellbinders.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope that you are able to take some time this week a little time to craft a little kindness.

New to Hot Foiling? Here’s a video that shares the steps to hot foil a similar card that I created a couple of weeks ago.
Stunning card, Sheryl!! The purple and gold are so elegant!!!
Thank you Karen. I’m in love with the matte gold. 🙂
