Story of Elegance

Happy Friday!

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope that your week was a good one and that you’re ready for the weekend.

I’m back with a card that you can craft easily with products from the Spotlight Frames and Florals Collection by Lisa Horton and an embossing folder.

Here’s the card I made to share with you today:

I love this shade of blue.  It’s called Surf’s Up and it is one of the Premium Dye Based Matt Blending Inks by Lisa Horton.  It’s perfect for summer!

Elegance Made Easy

Here are the directions to create this A2 sized card.

Ink blend the edges of a 3 3/4″ x 5″ panel of white card stock using the ink color of your choice and add to the front of an A2 card base.

Dry emboss a 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ piece of white card stock and add to the card front.  I used Lisa Horton Crafts Pretty Leaves embossing folder.

Ink blend a scrap of white card stock and cut using the plain circle die from Stitched Edge Circle Background dies.  Dry emboss the die cut circle.

Die cut the Hello sentiment from the inked white card stock and the first shadow die in white card stock from the A Little Hello sentiments set.  Adhere the sentiment to the shadow.

Use silver foil to die cut the large stiched circle from die set.

Adhere the inked and embossed circle to the card front and then add the silver stitched circle.

Add the stacked sentiment to the card front with glue.

Die cut the largest anenome flower from Layered Anemone die set and ink the flower center with a coordinating color.

Add the assembled flower to silver circle on the card front.

Embellish with gems if desired. I used Fashion Silver gems by Spellbinders.

Thanks again for stopping by.

I hope that you’ll give this quick and easy card a try.

Have a fantastic weekend.  I’ll be back on Tuesday with another card to share.

Until next time,

Live Graciously!
