Story of Elegance
Happy Tuesday! Glad you opted to stop by!
Not sure what the weather is like where you are, but it is surely sweltering here in Central Ohio today.
When it’s this hot it’s the perfect excuse to spend some time in my craft room.
Today, I did just that.
I used the Lisa Horton Crafts Lily Bloom embossing folder and stencil set to create today’s project.
Here’s the card I made to share with you today:
I love using floral images in card making. It’s fun to be able to make the flowers whatever color you want them to be. 🙂
Elegance Made Easy
Here are the directions to create this A2 sized card.
On a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ piece of white card stock, stencil the flowers using the colors of your choice. ( I used Lisa Horton Crafts Cloud 9 Premium Dye-based Matt Blending Inks in Coral Beach, Garden Sage, Tree Bark and Anthracite.)
Use the die that comes with the Lily Bloom embossing folder to die cut the stenciled image.
Dry emboss the die cut using the Lily Bloom embossing folder and add to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of white card stock and then to the card front. (You can skip this step and add the die cut directly to card front if desired.)
Stamp the “Thanks” sentiment onto a scrap of white card stock in black ink and fussy cut. ( I used Lisa Horton Crafts Cloud 9 Premium Dye-based Matt Blending Inks in Solid Black.) Stamp the “A Bunch” sentiment onto the card front using black ink.
Embellish with gems if desired. I used Fashion Silver gems by Spellbinders.
Thanks again for stopping by.
I hope that you’ll give this quick and easy card a try.
