Story of Elegance

Welcome to Tuesday!  The colors of Autumn are nearly gone and the time for the colors of Christmas is fast approaching.  This prompts me to celebrate fall with one last card.  November ushers in a season when we are particularly grateful for the things that matter most, so of course I needed to create a thank you card.  Today I’m using our Beautiful Autumn stamp set and dies from Many Medallion and Layering Square die sets share a little gratitude.

In keeping with my fall theme, here’s my color palate.

A Closer Look

Here’s how I created this card:

1: Use the large die from the Many Medallions die set to cut the background using Very Vanilla Card stock and adhere to a card base made with Thick Very Vanilla card stock.

2: Use the two largest dies from the Layering Squares (scalloped edge)  die set to cut squares for the sentiment panel.  Use the largest to cut a square with Cajun Craze card stock.  Use the next largest square to cut a square with Very Vanilla card stock.

3. Use Early Expresso Ink to stamp the sentiment onto the Very Vanilla square.  Use Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie ink to stamp leaves onto the sentiment square.

4.  Adhere the Very Vanilla square onto the Cajun Craze square and adhere to the center of the card.

5.  Add Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment panel.
