Happy Friday! Today is September 11th. As we remember this day, I hope you will take a moment to offer a prayer of thanks to those who have sacrificed so much defending our country in the past and a prayer of protection for those who continue to do so still. Say a prayer of comfort for those who have lost loved ones from tragedy of all kinds. Be thankful for another day to live and love. Thank you for stopping by. I’m continuing this week to share cards from the August InKing Royal card challenge. Today I’m sharing card 12 of the 15 day challenge.

My card features our new Snowflake Wishes Bundle and the Borders Abound Stamp Set. Like card #11 that I shared on Wednesday, I continued with non-traditional colors for this wintry hello.

A Closer Look

Here’s how I created this card:

1: Cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8 ” piece of Soft Suede card stock and emboss using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

2: Cut a 3 11/16″ x 4 7/8″ piece of Petal Pink card stock and adhere to the embossed panel. Adhere to a card base made with Thick Whisper Whisper White card stock.

3. Stamp snowflakes in Petal Pink using the stamp from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set onto a 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock. On the left side of the panel use Soft Suede ink to stamp the Snowflake border from the Borders Abound stamp set. Adhere to the Petal Pink panel.

4: Die cut two Snowflakes from the So Many Snowflakes die set. One in Petal Pink and one in Soft Suede. Adhere to the stamped panel.

5: Use the hello stamp from the Borders Abound stamp set to stamp the sentiment onto the panel in Soft Suede ink.

6: Add Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the border and the center of the snowflake.
