I’m glad that you stopped by to see what I’ve been up to. As you know, there’s a ton of great things going on with Stampin’ Up! right now and I’m having lots of fun playing with the FREE products I received just for making a purchase.
I’m also on a mission to see how many birthday cards I can make with the Oval Occasions bundle. I’ve shared a few already and I have another one today. Here’s how I used these papers today.
Sale-a-bration Happy Birthday
The beautiful papers do all the work. Isn’t that great news?! I love the colors and texture of this card. And the Double Oval punch just makes me happy! It’s so easy to use.
A closer look
Here’s are steps to create this card:
1: Cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel of Soft Seafoam card stock.
2. Cut a 2″ x 4″ strip of Flower & Field DSP. Cut a 3 1/4″ x 4″ strip of Oh So Ombre DSP and emboss with the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder. Adhere both to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Basic White card stock. Adhere DSP panel to the Sea Foam panel and add to a card base of Basic White card stock.
3. Punch 3-5 flowers from the DSP using the Small Blooms punch. I used a retired punch and added 5 flowers.
4. Create the sentiment panel by stamping the sentiment from the Special Occasions stamp set onto with Granny Apple Green ink onto a Soft Seafoam oval cut with the Double Oval punch. Punch a scalloped oval with the punch in DSP. Assemble the sentiment panel to the die cut panel.
5. Add a Bumble Bee In Color ribbon to the back of the sentiment panel with Glue Dots. Add the Sentiment panel to the card with Dimensionals.
6. Add Bumble Bee In Color Dots to the center of the flowers and around the sentiment.
