Story of Elegance
Hello and Welcome!
I added another Get Well card to my stash with today’s card. It’s one of those cards that you hope you don’t need, but when you need them, you usually need them quickly.
This card, like most of my cards comes together quickly. I used several new products, Speedy Recovery stamp set, and Split Card Textures and Stylish Shapes dies.
It’s easy to miss these fabulous dies in the new catalog because they are not part of a bundle. They are two of several standalone die sets this year.
Here’s the card that I made:

A Speedy Recovery
The Split Card Textures die is a simple way to add beautiful design and texture to the card. It’s a single die cut to create all the lovely detail.

Elegance Made Easy
Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.
First, make your cuts:
- Parakeet Party card stock – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
- Basic White card stock – 4″ x 5 1/4″ and die cut using the Split Card Textures die
Next, complete the stamping:
- Using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, stamp the sentiment from the Speedy Recovery stamp set onto the Basic White die cut panel
- Stamp the floral bunch using the same ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock with enough room to die cut around it
Color the floral bunch using Stampin’ Write Markers. I used Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Polished Pink, Highland Heather, Pear Pizzaz, and So Saffron.
Die cut the floral bunch using a circle die from the new Stylish Shapes dies.
Add the completed panels to an A2 card base made with Thick Basic White card stock, then add the die cut sentiment to the card using a piece of Foam Adhesive sheet cut to fit.
Finish by adding 2022-2024 In Color Matte Dots in Parakeet Party.
I also added a piece of 2022-2024 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper on the envelope flap to coordinate.
