It’s Friday! Woo hoo!
I have to chuckle at myself – I always celebrate Friday but the truth of the matter is that I celebrate everyday. I guess old habits are hard to break.
Anyway – I have lots of cards because of a recent card challenge. I have shared a few of them already and will share more in coming posts.
Today, I’m sharing one that I made using the Stylish Shapes die set.

I love the Petal Pink with Black and White. I used Blends to color one die cut circles of Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper (DSP.)
A Closer Look
Elegance Made Easy
Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.
First, make your cuts:
- Basic Black Card stock – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
- Abigail Rose DSP – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- 2 1/2″ circle die cuts – Cut 2 in Basic Black and 1 in Petal Pink card stock
- 2″ circle die cuts – Cut 3 in Perfectly Penciled DSP. Color 1 using Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends
- 1 3/4″ circle die cut – Basic Black (for sentiment)
- 1 1/4″ circle die cut – Basic White (for sentiment)
Next, complete the stamping:
- Stamp the sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto the 1 1/4″ Basic White die cut circle. I used a sentiment from the Botanical Layers stamp set.
Layer the card stock panels and add to an A2 card base made with Thick Very Vanilla card stock, then layer the circles and add to the card as shown.
Adhere the layered sentiment circles and add to the card using Dimensionals.
Finish by adding Champagne Basic Rhinestones around the layered circles and Abigail Rose DSP to the envelope flap.
