Well, hello and welcome!
Happy February! Wow. The new year is off to such a fast start. I can’t believe that January is history already. Time truly waits for no one. There is so much to celebrate during February and of course Valentine’s Day is on the list.
With Valentine’s Day on my mind, I pulled out the new Sweeet Conversations Bundle and got to work.
My granddaughter loves anything sparkly, so I had her in mind when I was busy crafting. Here is how one of the two cards I made turned out.

The Ombre Specialty DSP has great sparkle and I helped it say Happy Valentine’s Day by embossing it with our Dotty Hearts Embossing folder.
Elegance Made Easy
Here’s how to recreate this card.
To start, cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Read Red card stock and add it to a card base made with Thick Basic White card stock.
Next, add a 3 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the Real Red panel.
Then, emboss a 3 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Ombre Specialty DSP using the Dotty Hearts embossing folder. Adhere a piece of Metallic Mesh Ribbon vertically around the center of the embossed panel and adhere it to the Sweet Talk DSP panel.
For the sentiment, adhere a piece of Metallic Mesh Ribbon diagonally across the front of the card. Use a Red Heart Doily (retired) if you have it as the base. Layer a heart punched from Highland Heather card stock using the Heart punch. Adhere it to the doily using Dimensionals. Use a heart die from the Sweet Hearts die set to cut a heart in Sweet Talk DSP and add it to the center of the Highland Heather heart. Using a scrap of Basic White card stock and the Luv U stamp from the Sweet Conversations stamp set, heat emboss the sentiment in Silver and add it to the center of the Sweet Talk DSP heart.
To complete the project, add Clear Rhinestones Basic Jewels around the rim of the Highland Heather heart.
