Hello and welcome to another wonderful week!
For today’s card I pulled another new product from my stash – The Texture Chic Suite. The suite is comprised of the Season of Chic bundle (Season of Chic stamp set and Chic dies), Textured Chic Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the Distressed Gold DSP.
I used everything in the Suite except the Distressed Gold DSP as I opted or Gold Foil for my project.
The papers in the Texture Chic are so pretty. It was hard to decide which one I wanted to work with.

A Closer Look
Elegance Made Easy
Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.
First, make your cuts:
- Gold Foil – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ (Tip: since only a small 1/8″ rim is needed for the card, cut out the center portion and save the foil for use on another project.)
- Blushing Bride card stock – 4″ x 5 1/4″ – emboss using Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder
- Texture Chic DSP – 3 1/2 x 4 1/4″
- Textured Chic DSP 3″ x 3 3/4″ – die cut using the grid die from the Chic die set
- Textured Chic DSP 2 3/4″ x 5 7/8″ – envelope flap
- Basic White card stock – 1 1/2″ x 2 7/8″ (for sentiment)
Next, complete the stamping:
- Use two-step flower stamp to stamp the flower from the Season of Chic stamp set. I stamped off the center stamp and used the outer stamp fully inked with Blushing Bride ink.
- Stamp the sentiment beneath the flower in the same ink color.
Layer the completed panels: Gold foil, Blushing Bride embossed panel, Textured Chic DSP, Textured Chic die cut and add to an A2 card base made with Thick Basic White card stock.
Loop Gold Simply Elegant Trim onto the back of the stamped sentiment and add to the card base using Dimensionals.
Finish by adding DSP to the envelope flap and a Gilded Gem to the center of the flower.
