Story of Elegance
Happy Friday!
I really like the Wonderful World Designer Series paper, so I’m showcasing it along with the Handmade Tag punch for my card today.
I also paired Petal Pink and Old Olive with Basic White as my color combination.
Here’s my creation.

The iridescent quality of the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels seemed to coordinate perfectly with the DSP, so I chose to add a generous sprinkling to the punched sentiment.
A Closer Look
Elegance Made Easy
Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.
First, make your cuts:
- Old Olive card stock – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Petal Pink card stock – 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″
- Wonderful World Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
- Die cuts:
- None
- Punch:
- Handmade Tag in Basic White
Add the Old Olive card stock to an A2 card base made with Thick Basic White card stock.
Layer the DSP onto the Petal Pink panel.
Glue a strip of Old Olive Sheer Ribbon onto Petal Pink Soft Polyester Ribbon and add the combined ribbon on the left side of the DSP panel and then add to the card. Note: If you don’t have Old Olive Sheer Ribbon, you can substitute Old Olive Twill Ribbon.
Stamp the sentiment in Old Olive ink onto the punched Handmade Tag. I used a sentiment from the Fond of Autumn stamp set. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Dimensionals.
For the inside, I added a 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ strip of DSP.
To finish, add a cut-loop bow to the card using a Glue Dot, In Color Jewels to the sentiment and DSP to the envelope flap.
NOTE: To make a cut-loop bow, make a regular bow and cut the loops. Trim as desired.
